Wolf story line
Carl’s (Jordan Cooper) childhood and home life have not been easy. Nona (Mikala Gibson), Carl’s mother, is his main source of stability, because his father Jaymund (Shelton Jolivette) is a truck driver who spends 10 months out of the year on the road. Jaymund’s absence has put a strain on he and Carl’s relationship, leaving Carl emotionally neglected and starved for attention.
Bishop Anderson (Eugene Lee) is the glue that keeps the family together. He offers emotional and spiritual support and has even helped the family financially. Entering the cusp of manhood, Carl faces exposure of his darkest secret; a secret that tears his family apart, challenging his parents and grandmother (Irma P. Hall) to put the fragmented pieces back together.
WOLF deals with the issues of religion, sexuality, betrayal and the vicious cycle of abuse.
